Shoe. #1-3

So I'm doing Drawing as a Gen Ed course for uni this semester and the overarching exercise/assignment is to do 30 different drawings of the same object. 
I'm doing a shoe (obviously :P).

Here are the three I did today.

in case anybody was curious.

#1.  2B pacer. A4 paper. My usual style.

#2.  White progresso. Black A4 paper.

#3. 2B pencil. A3 paper.

#3 was inspired by Brian Selznick's style in "Wonderstruck" (left)
if you haven't yet read it, you should. it's amazing.

This was (very, very loosely) based on a photo of Holly. She wouldn't stop moving, so it's sorely lacking in detail cos the photo's fuzzy... that and it's late, and I can't be bothered cleaning my erasers... o.O
